We are James, Ethan, Michael, and Ryan—and like many of you, we’ve spent countless hours packing, unpacking, and rushing through airports. We’ve dealt with wrinkled clothes, limited space, and the constant pressure of fitting everything into a carry-on. We know the frustration, because we’ve lived it—again and again. That’s what drove us to rethink travel from the inside out—to design and create a smarter, more efficient travel companion. The result is Rooi Travel™ 2.0: a carry-on reinvented, with an integrated hanging system that keeps your clothes crisp, organized, and ready the moment you arrive.

In 2022, we noticed a travel problem nearly everyone faces: your clothes either arrive wrinkled, or you end up carrying a bulky suitcase and paying extra fees. That’s when we set out to design a smart bag that blends elegance with function.
We wanted a bag that’s compact on the outside, but surprisingly efficient on the inside. After countless sketches and trials, we developed a design that fully unfolds—allowing you to hang your clothes wrinkle-free, exactly as you packed them.
But we didn’t stop there. With its cleverly organized interior, you can pack more in less space, making it easy to bring as carry-on and skip the extra baggage fees altogether.

In early 2023, our vision at Lohxe began to take shape: a compact carry-on bag that keeps clothes wrinkle-free. We focused on designing a smart hanging system that blends elegance with efficiency. Through sketches, trials, and real travel testing, we shaped the first prototype of what would become Rooi Travel™ 2.0—a minimalist, functional bag made for modern travelers.

In the fast-paced world of modern travel, we saw a clear need for a smarter way to pack. In early 2023, the concept of Rooi Travel™ 2.0 started to take shape. We focused on developing a functional hanging system that keeps clothes neat, saves space, and eliminates the need for checked luggage.
Relying on real travel experience and direct user feedback, we worked through multiple iterations and prototypes. Partnering with expert manufacturers, we refined every detail—from structure to stitching—until we had a final product that met our vision.

In our journey to bring Rooi Travel™ 2.0 to life and scale it for the world, we turned to Kickstarter—a trusted crowdfunding platform—as our launchpad. The response was truly inspiring. Within just 30 days, we exceeded all expectations and raised over €220,000, marking a major milestone for our brand.
This incredible support didn’t just fund our first production run; it validated our vision and fueled our momentum. Our Kickstarter success proved that people around the world are ready for a smarter, more elegant way to travel—one that Rooi Travel™ 2.0 is proud to deliver.
